Started since October 2018 and operational since January 1, 2019, BIOP is the organization of organic producers and integrated pest control that is made up of solid historical production companies with a lean and constantly evolving structure.
The association of producers that we wanted represents a modern, organized and aware response to the needs of an expanding market and offers a series of advantages, both to affiliates and to customers, typically represented by large retailers.
The advantages for producers are all those that derive from the union and the constitution of a critical mass. Together we manage to obtain virtuous synergies, improving the quality, quantity and continuity of the product.
A benefit which the offer to customers immediately takes advantage of.
But not only. Working together also means acting for the rationalization of production, optimizing work in the warehouse and combining skills. All this results in benefits for the customer, who always encounters ready-to-use solutions at competitive prices.
The association also meets the requests of the European Union, which promotes and supports associations with contributions and reimbursements in support of the sector.
In this way, BIOP also works for the development of sustainable models, promotes research and plays an active role in the development of the ethical and social role of organic and biodynamic agriculture. By improving the role of producers, it makes them aware and participates in the alliance with consumers, for a consumption based on sustainable agriculture and truly aimed at the well-being of the person, respecting ethical and organic values and conscious production.
